Member of Panhellenic Sorority at Cal Poly

As an active member of the Panhellenic Sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma at Cal Poly, I am on a committee called Academic Excellence Committee, which I was selected by my class. I am responsible for making sure my fellow Kappa Kappa Gamma members at Cal Poly are achieving their academic goals, and if they are struggling, I can help connect them with other members of Kappa Kappa Gamma who excel in a certain academic area and link them to campus resources. Also, as an active member, I continue to make connections with my fellow Cal Poly peers and grow as person--professionally and as a human being in general.

Biomedical Engineering Society Club (Cal Poly)

BMES is my major's club, where we have presenters come and talk about biomedical engineering and possible career paths, among other things related to biomedical engineering.

Cal Poly Classes

I am currently in my fifth quarter at Cal Poly and am taking difficult but very interesting classes, which include Dynamics, Electric Circuit Theory, Intro to Biomedical Engineering, Technical Writing, and Mechanics of Materials. I am on schedule to graduate in spring of 2017 and I hope to get my Masters for another year at Cal Poly.

Socializing With Friends

I believe that balancing my academic life with a social life is very important to stay healthy and content. I enjoy playing intramural softball, going to the beach, watching movies, and playing frisbee with my friends on my off time.
