Dear Future
Employer:
I would like a
biomedical related summer internship in order to gain work experience and to
get a taste of the work I will be pursing in the near future once I graduate as
a biomedical engineer from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
As a biomedical
engineering student entering their junior year in the fall of this year, and
because have a drive to consistently learn new things and improve my skills
with anything that I care about, I want to have this summer internship as a way
for me to learn and work hands-on in my field of study. As a current sophomore
at Cal Poly, the classes I will take are hands-on, which follow our motto
“learn by doing,” which I am looking forward to taking and I would like to have
the opportunity to get a head start on such learning experiences.
My experience I
have from taking classes such as Mechanics of Materials, Dynamics, Electric
Circuit Analysis, and Intro to Biomedical Engineering will help me to optimize
my work at your biomedical company as an intern.
If you have any
questions after reviewing my resume and background, I would be happy to answer
if you contact me through my email (mlbarlow@calpoly.edu) or phone number (530-400-9416).
Sincerely,
McKenzie Barlow
